AI is Everywhere!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is appearing everywhere right now. AI is being used within software generating art, video, audio and even Tesla's latest robot.

AI Art in particular is seemingly evolving at a rapid pace and shows no sign of relenting. I've been experimenting with DALL-E, Stable Diffusion and Midjourney this month and having a lot of fun in the process. These tools take text prompts and convert to an image. Stable Diffusion was released a little over a month ago and has had all manner of variations of it since. I even learnt a new name for people using it - "Prompt Engineers". If you're interested in trying it for yourself see below for a video I created on getting it running on Apple Silicon.

In other news, I had a great time attending PyConUK this month with many other Python devs. It was my first in person event in 3 years and I was a bit dubious about going. I'm so glad I did, you can check out my post on it here.
