Quit Worrying, Do Something

This month we've seen so much activity from different providers bringing out new AI tools. I got to play with groq - a provider capable of crazy speeds of over 500 tokens/s, Anthropic have just dropped Claude 3 which some have mistaken for AGI and the team at Ollama have been adding every open model seemingly before they're even announced.

What's the problem then? What a time to be alive right? Well I'd like to try all of these things, to test them out and provide my own commentary. But when it comes down to recording or writing, even though I may have carved out time to film or write - I often find myself like a kid in a sweet shop, unable to pick a subject.

The problem is I'm a worrier, I immediately think about whether this is the right subject this time round, if it will perform well and if it's even worth pursuing.

In the end, it probably doesn't matter - filming any of these videos would be good output for my channel viewers. Committing to one and getting it done is the best approach. Rather than worrying about how it might perform, get it filmed and in the library for people to enjoy. I way I also get a dopamine hit of feeling productive too.

Let me know if you enjoy this issues links, if you have any comments feel free to get in touch.

Until next time, keep on shipping!
