Content Strategy the Hard Way ♞
Hey! This month my blog celebrated it's 20th Birthday and I turned myself into a slightly ropey version of Henry Cavill for YouTube.
20 years! That's a big number and one I don't take lightly. But it's how old my website is now. It seems like it was only yesterday I was writing about bringing it into the world with b2 or it's 10th birthday. They grow up so fast. 😢
In all seriousness, it's only the last few years I've had any form of traffic on the web. In the early years the only technical posts I wrote were about moving between blogging platforms. Early indications of my interest in being a web developer. The rest of my posts then were about my personal life which history (and my analytics) have proven the internet cares very little about.
It's been a similar story so far for YouTube too. Turns out randomly posting anything that comes into your head isn't a great way to grow. Maybe by 2033 I'll have my content strategy completely nailed.
Read more about the history of my site here, where I highlight some of my best posts over 2 decades.
I hope you enjoy this issues links, if you have any comments or suggestions for the future, please feel free to reply and let me know.
Until next time, keep on shipping!
